FARMVILLE, Va. (WSET) — Did you feel a rumble in the earth below your feet this afternoon?
It may have been the earthquake that hit near Farmville Tuesday afternoon.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, or the USGS, a 3.0 magnitude earthquake struck just north of Farmville at 1:08 p.m. That magnitude was upgraded from an initial 2.8 measurement.
