Your May 2025 Horoscope for Libra
by Susan Miller
Venus was in your work-a-day project sector (sixth house), so you may receive a new assignment or win a new client in early May if you didn’t already do so in late April. The new moon on April 27 will influence you for at least 10 days and for as long as five months, very gradually becoming weaker as the new moon moves away from the day it appeared.
On May 12 the full moon in Scorpio at 22 degrees (another fixed sign) will light your second house of personal income, savings, and the payments you owe. This full moon will be difficult because Uranus in Taurus will be conjunct the Sun and directly oppose the full moon in Scorpio. Something is coming to a conclusion or fullness, but this full moon will be filled with volatility. Your career (solar tenth house, ruled by the moon) could bring unexpected news that has a bearing on your money. (If this should happen, don’t worry—you have to read all the way to the end. You’re in a very good position!)
When I say the word “unexpected” in regard to your money at the May 12 full moon, I realize things could go either way—this doesn’t necessarily indicate bad news about an unanticipated expense. We don’t have to prepare for good news, that is easy to take, but we all need to plan a little if things go the other way. Uranus is hard to prepare for because its very nature is to be surprising and unexpected. None of us can ever guess what Uranus will bring—it is always an outcome that doesn’t even cross our mind. I suppose the universe created Uranus so that we would stay resourceful and alert and be able to turn on a dime when necessary.
With a direct opposition of Uranus to this full moon, I can only imagine something will come out of left field that you don’t see coming, and it will involve an unexpected expense. Keep track of your belongings so that you don’t lose a treasured item, like your computer or smartphone. I am sorry to have to report that this full moon might not be to your liking.
The moon rules Libra’s solar tenth house of career, so there may be changes taking place there. Sometimes things work out in your favor—the difficult client finally leaves, allowing you the freedom to find someone new who is better suited to your personality and talent.
