Halle Bailey says she’s done with DDG’s alleged abuse, filing a police report and asking for court-ordered protection from the father of her child.
According to court docs, Halle claims the abuse turned physical in January. Although they broke up in October, DDG came to pick up their son, Halo, and Bailey tried to discuss a visitation schedule. While buckling Halo into his car seat, she says DDG became agitated and repeatedly yelled, “Get out of my car, B***H.” As the baby cried, Bailey grew nervous about letting DDG drive off.
She says a struggle followed. DDG allegedly pulled her hair, slammed her face into the steering wheel, and chipped her tooth. Despite crying and being in pain, the singer rode with him to his house to ensure Halo’s safety. Once his family took the baby, she left “hysterical” with bruises and a chipped tooth, supported by injury photos she submitted to the court.
In March, she alleges DDG entered her home uninvited, went into her bedroom, and texted her a photo of her empty bed, saying, “now I know what u been on lol.” Halle interpreted this as him accusing her of sleeping with others.
Four days later, she says he returned, became verbally abusive after being told the baby was sick, smashed her Ring camera, and fled with her phone, allegedly yelling, “GO GET IT B***H,” before throwing it from his car.
A judge granted Halle a restraining order and approved her taking Halo to Italy for two months of filming.
