The Rockies are just 7-27 at home this year, and Gallen has been decent at Coors. He got lit up for 6 ER in 5 IP against them back in the desert May 17, and he’s definitely not as effective as he has been in previous years. So I’m steering clear of the -185 ML and definitely away from the -140 RL.
Give me CORBIN CARROLL OVER 1.5 TOTAL BASES (-145). I don’t like the price tag, but he’s 6-for-13 (.462) with 2 homers against Gomber lifetime and hitting .306 with 4 homers in 49 career at-bats at Coors.
Give me the ROCKIES +1.5 (+105). Of the last 10 meetings with Arizona, they have won or kept it within a run 6 times. Gallen has allowed 4+ ER in 6 of 7 GS, and I don’t trust him despite his good numbers at Coors.
The wind is blowing out to right-center at 16 mph. I was leaning toward the Under until discovering that piece of intel. The Over is 3-6-1 in the last 10 meetings, but both teams have been hitting the Over recently. Arizona is 7-3 O/U in the last 10, and the Rockies are 6-4.
