We’re monitoring the cut line at the John Deere Classic to see who will miss and miss the cut.

This week’s PGA Tour lineup at the TPC Deere Run isn’t exactly the who’s who of superstar golfers, but there are a few big names that stumbled out of the gate in Round 1 on Thursday, July 3. Jason Day opened his tournament with 3-over 74 and Stephan Jaegar withdrew from the tournament after carding a 74.

Here’s a look at who is in line to make and miss the cut at the John Deere Classic:

After two rounds, the cut line at the John Deere Classic landed at 5 under par. The cut line fluctuated between 3 under and 5 under for much of the day.

How many players make the cut at John Deere Classic?

Of the 156 golfers who entered the tournament, 65 are guaranteed to make the cut and play this weekend. That number can grow to account for ties, and players within 10 strokes of the lead also get to play the weekend. Last year, 77 players made the cut at 5 under par.
