When one Taylor Sheridan show ends another pops up to take its place.
The series finale of the prolific writer’s beloved Yellowstone prequel 1923 aired last week on Paramount+, with the final episode setting up yet another series, 1944. You can read all about the divisive finale on Decider as we wait for Sheridan’s next Yellowstone-related series: The Madison.
The upcoming neo-Western starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Patrick J. Adams, and Matthew Fox is described as a “heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.” The buzzy new show started production in 2024, so hopefully the series will premiere later this year.
Plus, don’t forget about the hotly anticipated Rip and Beth (Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly) spinoff that’s reportedly in the works as well as the second season of Landman (which is now in production). You best believe I’ll be drinking an ice-cold Michelob Ultra to celebrate the return of Tommy Norris. But let’s get back to 1923, shall we?
