Clouds, sprinkles in Oregon; warmer temps mid-week

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — After a warm and sunny Saturday, our Sunday will feature more in the way of clouds and cooler temperatures from 50s along the Oregon Coast to low 60s in the Willamette Valley.

There is also a chance of a sprinkle along the coast and into the metro area as an area of low pressure continues to move off to the south and east. Any precipitation that does fall will be very light — less than a tenth of an inch of rainfall is expected Sunday.

Looking ahead, a ridge of high pressure will slowly build over the Pacific Northwest this coming week.

By mid-week we could be looking at daytime high temperatures nearing 80 degrees.
