Hear them roar!
Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner are turning up the heat this summer in a new SKIMS campaign debuting a fierce swim collaboration with luxury fashion house Roberto Cavalli, and the photos are hot and fashionably ferocious.
Photographer Nadia Lee Cohen lensed reality television’s most iconic mother-daughter duo in sexy animal-print looks from the collection, which includes everything from one-pieces (like the tiger-inspired scoop-neck number seen on Kardashian, who transforms into a Cavalli vixen with a blonde wig), bikini sets, cover-ups and accessories.

The entire launch features exotic archival Cavalli prints: Fagianella, Light Zebra and Tiger Face — the perfect look for “basking on the beach, lounging off-coast, or indulging alfresco,” reads a press release.
Jenner, 69, has fronted a SKIMS campaign before, back in 2019 when she modeled alongside Lisa Rinna and Kyle Richards. However, this marks Jenner’s first modeling gig since multiple outlets, including PEOPLE, confirmed that she recently paid a visit to N.Y.C.-based plastic surgeon Dr. Steven Levine, who was responsible for her latest aesthetic transformation, as well as her recent comments on her past facelift.
Once the campaign photos hit the internet, the pair’s famous friends shared their praises. Paris Hilton wrote, “Loves it!” while Lauren Sánchez added: “Epic omg. Love.”
Previously SKIMS has launched campaigns with Kardashian’s sisters, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian and Kylie and Kendall Jenner. Meanwhile, the famous momager most recently modeled for Kylie’s clothing brand Khy.

In an interview with Vogue, Kardashian, the co-founder and chief creative officer of SKIMS, revealed how she decided to have her mom as her costar.
“She saw that I was looking at some of the samples as we were going through everything and she was like, ‘Oh my God, I want this and this,’” Kardashian told the outlet. “And I felt it was really a moment between me and her and we were like, ‘Wait, you have to be in the campaign,’ because Kris Jenner is the moment too.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, Kardashian said that she was inspired to work with Roberto Cavalli and its creative director, Fausto Puglisi, after rediscovering a pair of pants from the label in her closet.

“Skims can be really simple; it’s all about the fits and the materials and the way they make you feel, but when you go on vacation sometimes you want something different. We were making our own prints and I was just thinking, ‘You know what? There has to be some way to do a Skims Cavalli collab…”

In a press release shared by SKIMS, Puglisi said: “Collaborating with SKIMS on this glamorous, bold collection of swimwear has been a remarkable experience. To me, Kim is a modern Marilyn Monroe, she is the pop icon, she inspires me so much.”
The SKIMS and Roberto Cavalli collection is available in sizes XXS to 4X and is will drop on June 27 online at SKIMS.com, in SKIMS stores, in select Roberto Cavalli boutiques and at luxury retailers, including Printemps New York.
