Lindsay Lohan took some years away from the limelight and stepped away from acting. But within the last few years, she’s been slowly making her return with comedic roles like the long-awaited sequel for Freaky Friday, the classic Disney movie she starred in with Jamie Lee Curtis—which is titled Freakier Friday and set to be released this summer. At CinemaCon on April 3, she took the stage with her movie mom in a simple yet elegant floor-length gown from Jacquemus.
Lohan turned heads on the red carpet in the black dress, which featured a deep V-neck and a neckline that hugged just the outside of her shoulders, a fitted bodice, and a slit on the side of the dress that started right below the knee and ended at the bottom of the train.

The actress returned to the stage to accept this year’s Vanguard Award for her decades-long contribution to films starting with Disney when she was young. “I first saw myself on the big screen when I was very young in The Parent Trap with Disney, and it was so surreal, but I felt right at home.”

She went on to thank all of the people at Disney who believed in her and her husband, Bader Shammas. “Thank you, CinemaCon, for believing in me and for coming to cinema and bringing me here for this wonderful recognition. Thank you so much. God bless and have a great night. Thank you,” Lohan said as she wrapped up her speech.
