Seattle Reign’s June road trip continues this afternoon with a visit to the Windy City to face the last place Chicago Stars. This has historically been a very difficult place for the Reign to play, with a record of 3-9-2 in Illinois, but today’s game features a new twist, with it taking place at Soldier Field in downtown Chicago rather than the Stars regular home venue in Bridgeview, Ill.
The two sides have played 31 times previously, with the Reign winning 11 of those matches and scoring 44 goals, Chicago winning 12 and scoring 43 goals, and the two sides drawing 8 times.
