David Corenswet and his wife, Julia Best Warner, made their red carpet debut in a super way.
The couple walked the red carpet on Monday, July 7, for the world premiere of Corenswet’s new film, Superman, at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Corenswet, 32, and Best Warner, were all smiles as they posed for photos.
Corenswet, who plays the Man of Steel, looked dapper in a navy pinstripe suit and matching vest piece. He rocked a matching tie and had a white pocket square delicately placed in the pocket of his suit jacket.
Best Warner dazzled in a green satin high-neck gown. For her hair, she opted for a classic updo. The actress completed her look with dangling earrings and a gold bangle.
Corenswet and Best Warner first met as teenagers while attending a summer theater program in Pennsylvania. Their connection didn’t turn romantic until years later. The pair ultimately tied the knot in 2023. One year after exchanging their vows, Corenswet and Best Warner welcomed their first child.
Earlier this year, Corenswet opened up about how he and Best Warner learned they were expecting their first child at the same time when he was in the running to play Superman in the new adaptation by James Gunn.

“She told me that she was pregnant two days after I found out I was going to screen test for Superman,” the actor said in an interview with People in June. “For the first several months of her pregnancy, as is sort of protocol, we weren’t telling anybody. We had these two quite huge secrets that we just had between the two of us. And that was intense.”
When Corenswet got the role of the iconic superhero, he realized Best Warner’s due date would fall around the same time as the movie’s filming schedule.
“It was very close. It wasn’t direct, but it was still very close,” he explained. “But it was just having to do two big unknown things at the same time. And they were both great things.”
In addition to Corenswet as the titular hero, Superman stars Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as the villainous Lex Luthor. While at the premiere, Corenswet, Brosnahan and Hoult posed for photos together.
Superman also features Anthony Carrigan, Frank Grillo, María Gabriela de Faría, Alan Tudyk, Edi Gathegi, Isabela Merced, Nathan Fillion and more.
Superman premieres in theaters on Friday, July 11.
