Taylor Swift masters: Singer owns her music catalog
Taylor Swift announced on Instagram and her website she owns her music catalog.
She can still make the whole place shimmer.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stepped out on Friday, June 6, to attend the wedding of Kelce’s cousin Tanner Corum. The pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end posed for photos that Corum shared on Instagram.
Swift was wearing a floral blue dress, while Kelce donned a short-sleeved gingham button-up shirt and brown pants. The ceremony took place at the RiverView Family Farm in Knoxville, Tennessee, according to Corum’s post.
In the caption of an Instagram gallery, Corum wrote that he was “so damn thankful for our family and the people that love us the most to come celebrate us on this special day.”
“Not a soul in this world makes me happier,” he also captioned another post sharing pictures with the bride. “I am so proud of the mother you are to our beautiful girl, and marrying you is the best decision I’ve ever made. Thank you for being my greatest blessing on earth.”
Some guests posed for selfies with the famous couple on Instagram, including Kelce’s cousin Ashton Corum, who posted a pair of photos apparently taken by the singer herself. Corum also shared a group picture that included Swift and Kelce.
“I love taylor swift casually in the pictures …. so relatable!” one commenter joked.
The bride, Samantha, previously posted a photo with Swift on Instagram in 2023, writing at the time, “This bday is going to be hard to beat.”
The outing for Swift came one week after the singer dropped the bombshell news that she has purchased the rights to all of her own music following a widely publicized dispute over the master recordings.
Kelce celebrated the purchase in a subsequent episode of his “New Heights” podcast. When guest Shaquille O’Neal held his phone up to the microphone and played Swift’s song “I Knew You Were Trouble,” Kelce proudly proclaimed, “(She) just bought all her music back, so it’s finally hers.”
