Jannik Sinner will play his first-round match at Wimbledon against his Italian countryman Luca Nardi.
Sinner, who enters the tournament as the first seed this year, bowed out in the fourth round to Daniil Medvedev at the All England Club in 2024.
He has only played two matches during the grass swing so far, having suffered an early exit at the Halle Open, but the world number one remains among the heavy favourites in SW19.
Following the Wimbledon draw, the 23-year-old’s route to the final may see him come up against seven-time champion Novak Djokovic in the semi-final.
Should he advance to the championship match, however, Sinner will have become the first to achieve a remarkable feat.

If Sinner reaches a maiden Wimbledon final at this year’s event, he’ll become the first player born in 2000 or later to appear in the final of all four Grand Slam tournaments.
The three-time major champion won the Australian Open in 2024 and clinched the US Open later that season.
He went back-to-back in Melbourne earlier this year, defeating Alexander Zverev to hold the trophy aloft for the second time, and reached his first final at Roland Garros in early June.
All that remains for Sinner is an appearance in the championship match on Centre Court at Wimbledon.
His best finish in South West London came in 2023, when he reached the semi-final before losing to Djokovic in straight sets.

Were Sinner to go all the way at Wimbledon, he’ll become the first Italian, man or woman, in tennis history to win the tournament.
Both Matteo Berrettini and Jasmine Paolini have come close in recent years, with the two compatriots reaching the final in 2021 and 2024, respectively.
Berrettini was denied by Djokovic, while Paolini was overcome by defending champion Barbora Krejcikova.
Sinner’s most likely opponent in the final will be Carlos Alcaraz, who is in pursuit of becoming the fifth man in the Open Era to three-peat at Wimbledon.
